1.Do you think consumers should avoid over packaged products or is it the responsibility of producers?
Packaging ensures that people can buy and use products when they want them, in good condition and with little wastage. However, many people think some goods have too much packaging. Snacks intended to be eaten on the move are an example of products where the consumer could easily assemble the components him/herself without the need for packaging.
The packaged goods industry is highly competitive, and packaging manufacturers, packaged goods producers and retailers are all under pressure to come up with new and better packaging solutions. No business wants to spend more on packaging than it has to and the fewer resources the packaging needs, the lower its cost.
Also, companies see to have gone overboard on packaging – they put food in trays, inside a box, inside a plastic container with with cardboard wrap around to explain what it is. For instance, MacDonalds is the first to over-package their food and encourage people to eat while walking – hence they throw it on the street.
2.Many people think that regions affect successful person. What is your opinion about native region and accomplished person’s influence on the region he belongs to.
There is a common notion that region or native place affects an individual’s success, which in my view is totally absurd, had it been so then all the person in that area would have been rocket scientist or that place would have been a land full of scholars but this is not so.
To begin with, Native place or region where a person starts his life imparts him basic training and values of life which no doubt establish the building block of a person’s mentality and attitude towards life. For example, the essence of hardworking or patience is learnt about in formative years of life which affect the person’s trait throughout his life.
Furthermore, during a person’s pursuit to success he moves across different places, after completion of basic chapter of life an individual moves to different regions to further excel in his or her competency area, during this journey the individual learns many more different skills which aid him to reach pinnacle of success.
As a conclusion, we can say that although an individual’s success is influenced by his native region, but that is not the sole factor towards his success, there are many other factors which play important role in success
3. Roles of governments, companies and individuals to combat climate change
But what really is the proper role for individuals and institutions in addressing climate change? An immediate and natural response may be that everyone should do their part
Decisions affecting carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, for example, are made primarily by companies and consumers. This includes decisions by companies about how to produce electricity, as well as thousands of other goods and services; and decisions by consumers regarding what to buy, how to transport themselves, and how to keep their homes warm, cool, and light.
In order to effectively address global warming, we must significantly reduce the amount of heat-trapping emissions we are putting into the atmosphere. As individuals, we can help by taking action to reduce our personal carbon emissions. But to fully address the threat of global warming, we must demand action from our elected leaders to support and implement a comprehensive set of climate solutions:
Expand the use of renewable energy and transform our energy system to a cleaner one
Place limits on the amount of carbon that polluters are allowed to emit.
Build a clean energy economy by investing in efficient energy technologies, industries, and approaches.
Reduce tropical deforestation and its associated global warming emissions.
4. Nowadays, the mass media including TV, radio and newspaper have become the essential part of our lives. What is your opinion?
1.Television is now playing a very important role in our lives.
2. Television is not only a convenient source of entertainment, but also a comparative cheap one.
3. Television keeps you informed about current events. It allows you to follow the latest developments in science and politics.
4. Many television programs introduce people to things they never thought of before and have never heard of before.
5. Television has been good company to those who do not work, like housewives, lonely old people, etc.
6. People all around the world are no longer distant and isolated from each other.
7.It brings most distant countries and the strangest customs right into your living room.
8. Compared with radio, everything on television is more lifelike, vivid, and real.
9. Television may be a vital factor in holding a family together.
10. Television keeps people informed of the news and weather. disasters like floods, winds, etc.
Disadvantages
1.Television is a great time waster.
2. Television takes up too much of our time.
3.We no longer have enough time for hobbies, entertaining activities.
4.Other outside amusements like theaters, movies, sports, etc get ignored.
5. People have grown addicted to television, often neglecting the necessary and more important things like meals, sleep, and even work.
6. The more the viewer watches television, the lazier they become. The TV glues them to the set instead of allowing them to go out.
7. Television prevents people from communicating with each other.
8.It has done much harm to the relationship between family members.
9. Families sit and watch television at dinner instead of talking with each other
5. The mass media including TV, Radio and newspaper influence our society and shape our opinions and characters. What is your opinion?
paragraph 1
Means of mass communication viz radio, TV and newspaper have advanced a lot and in today’s world almost everyone has access to these communication media and there is a considerable effect of them on the society.
To begin with, TV programs tell us about various cultures in world which we are not even aware of, people extract the good out of them and try to emulate in their own lives. For example – the culture of santa’s Christmas gift to children is taken in good spirits all over the world to do something good for the needy.
Furthermore, the mass media presents us the reality of eminent political figures in society which helps people to build up their mind before voting for such persons in election, there is a chance of building negative image also but that is one aspect of mass media. As an instance, works of Mr APJ kalam were limited to only few persons who were in direct contact with him, however with media intervention his works were brought forward to society which help build a positive image about him and his fan following increased exponentially.
As a conclusion mass media has significant impact on society and it helps in building opinions
Paragraph 2
Newspapers, radio, television, and the Internet—including e-mail and blogs—are significantly influential on our society, especially in affirming attitudes and opinions that are already established. The news media focus the public’s attention on certain personalities and issues, leading many people to form opinions about them.
Mass media sets the news agenda, which shapes the public's views on what is newsworthy and important.
It is a system used by advertisement agencies and media outlets, such as television channels and radio stations to "convince" their audiences to do or act in a certain way. It appeals to the vulnerability of the desired target .
For instance, a famous person or persons Who are recognized and admired by whole communities. These individuals have the "Power" to convince their followers or fans into taking any kind of action or decision. Therefore, these famous people usually are linked or work for some media outlet and are used, to influence the community accordingly.
The media has changed significantly in the past years. Because of the availability of television and radio all populations and classes have been exposed to various types of media. The Internet has provided an even newer media resource. The majority of people live in a very fast paced society. They have very little time for reading and exploring the truth of information. The producers of media publication are aware of this and use the media to influence public choice and opinion. The problem lies in that many people are gullible and society as a whole is easily influenced by the media representations. The media also responds to public demand and provides the information that the public craves.
A positive aspect of the media’s bias has been that it has facilitated change in people’s perception of races in a positive manner, exposed people to other cultures, made people aware of environmental needs, and the needs of people far away. While there can also be negative implications the media also has to reflect the public’s point of view. With the growing representation of Hispanics, African Americans, and other minority groups, the media is under pressure to present them in a more positive light.
6.Company’s top level authorities should get their employees in decision making process. Discuss
The solid foundation of any successful company is its people. Employees represent a source of knowledge and ideas, but oftentimes that resource remains untapped. Involving employees in the decision-making process not only empowers them to contribute to the success of an organization, but also saves the company time and money. It also increases productivity and reduces outsourcing
Improving Morale-Actively engaging workers in the decision-making process increases overall company morale. Employees understand their ideas are an important contribution to the company, and gives them the power to influence the outcome of their work, leading to increased job satisfaction and a positive attitude.
Internal Resources-Using employees in the decision-making process, rather than outsourcing, saves money, time, and offers the company long-term reliable assistance from those who know the corporation well.
Teamwork-Participation in the decision-making process gives each employee the opportunity to voice their opinions, and to share their knowledge with others. While this improves the relationship between manager and employee, it also encourages a strong sense of teamwork among workers.
7. Some people think law changes our behaviour. Discuss.
&
14. Some people believe law changes human behaviour. Do you agree/disagree?
Can legislation reform human nature?
Can laws change people's mind?
As far as I am concerned, laws can only prohibit people's evil behaviour by the force of government power, ensure the freedom of its people and help maintaining the peace and stability of the society. They can not operate on people's minds.
Moral judgment is motivated largely by avoidance of punishment. Individuals develop an understanding that rules are necessary to maintain social order, and are motivated by what they think people expect of them. Thus, people perceive an obligation to uphold the law to avoid the social disorder that would follow in the wake of others disobeying.
8. Pros and Cons of expreme/adventure sports.
Paragraph 1
sky-diving, bungee-jumping, risky pursuits, the real dangers of various high-risk pursuits, turning extreme sports into a multi-billion dollar global industry, parachuting, numerous fatal accidents, daredevils, scuba-diving, marathon running, Over the past decade, extreme sports have become extremely popular. And so have extreme injuries. Between 2000 and 2011, more than four million injuries were attributed to extreme sports. and some kids try to emulate his tricks
Extreme sports bring excitement and thrill. The daring participants say extreme sports are all about the thrill and the sense of accomplishment they get. They're climbing higher, jumping farther and moving faster, all in the name of personal glory. Still, when things go wrong, they pay a heavy price. Humans aren't supposed to fly
Paragraph 2
The adventure sports were there before as well but only limited to the defense purposes. Today due to advancement in technology, adventure sports are easily accessible by a common man. These sports demand a great deal of daring. There are both benefits and drawbacks of these sports.
Any kind of adventure sport develops competitive spirit and makes one to face the future problems with utmost patience. When one participates in these kinds of sport activities, one could become capable of handling the various vicissitudes of life because adventure sports require high hard working tendency. Moreover, there would a change to meet people of their kind and could enjoy one other’s company. Next, a person gets the thrilling experience which remains as the nostalgic memories. Finally, a person would be trained so that one may serve one’s country by joining the defense services. Therefore, it is clear that adventure sports are highly beneficial.
However, adventure sports have the other facet which cons. Generally, these sports are chosen by youngsters and in the event of playing they may be severely injured, sometimes may become physically handicapped. Furthermore, in extreme cases, these sports may cause death of a person. For instance, car race, which gives thrill but with the minor mistake it may cost their valuable lives. Hence, these sports are dangerous.
To summarize, ultimately by taking proper care and by being careful, one can minimize the cons of these sports. In my view, cons overweigh pros of these kinds of extreme sports.
Paragraph 3 – By Shannon Junkie
The Pros
· There is a new breed of athletes known as the extreme sport athlete. They make a living doing extreme sports.

· Sports like sky diving, base jumping, cliff jumping or even bungee jumping can have deadly consequences if even the smallest thing goes wrong. Other extreme sports like surfing, snowboarding, or skateboarding increase your likelihood of breaking bones, loss of limbs, or even paralysis. The danger level is something that should certainly be considered.
· Many of these sports are very difficult to perform well. It takes practice and time. Reaching top levels of any type of sport especially in these activities will always require tremendous discipline and hours of practicing.
9. The environment we live in is in danger due to various problems. What are the underlying causes? Who is responsible to combat this? What measures?
Paragraph 1
Deforestation- Deforestation is a rapidly-growing problem in areas like Africa, Central and South America. Not only does this mean less trees, less cleansing oxygen, and the displacement of the wildlife, deforestation means a dangerous decrease in a natural fighter of global warming –
Pollution-Pollution comes in many forms and no matter where you live. The main reason for why pollution has gotten so out of control is that our desire for more “stuff” has led to our old stuff being thrown away at an alarming and unnecessary rate. This need for manufactured items also leads to the air and water pollution emitted from factories, which in many countries are highly unregulated.
Loss of Biodiversity-Each species has a role in our planet, and when one dies out, it can have catastrophic effects on the rest of us. Currently, many other animals are in danger of becoming extinct, either from being forced out of their habitats by man or by climate change.
Paragraph 2 - http://ielts-simon.com/ielts-help-and-english-pr/2010/08/ielts-writing-task-2-full-essay.html
Humans are responsible for a variety of environmental problems, but we can also take steps to reduce the damage that we are causing to the planet. This essay will discuss environmental problems and the measures that governments and individuals can take to address these problems.
Two of the biggest threats to the environment are air pollution and waste. Gas emissions from factories and exhaust fumes from vehicles lead to global warming, which may have a devastating effect on the planet in the future. As the human population increases, we are also producing ever greater quantities of waste, which contaminates the earth and pollutes rivers and oceans.
Governments could certainly make more effort to reduce air pollution. They could introduce laws to limit emissions from factories or to force companies to use renewable energy from solar, wind or water power. They could also impose ‘green taxes’ on drivers and airline companies. In this way, people would be encouraged to use public transport and to take fewer flights abroad, therefore reducing emissions.
Individuals should also take responsibility for the impact they have on the environment. They can take public transport rather than driving, choose products with less packaging, and recycle as much as possible. Most supermarkets now provide reusable bags for shoppers as well as ‘banks’ for recycling glass, plastic and paper in their car parks. By reusing and recycling, we can help to reduce waste.
In conclusion, both national governments and individuals must play their part in looking after the environment.
10.In education system, assessment through formal written examination still valid?
The essay below is somewhat different from subject but gives an idea about written examinations
Formal Examinations as well as regular assessments have got a distinct role in shaping students career. Formal examinations are set form of standardized tests which assess the students at the same level. The tests are well tried and experimented to know whether the students are able to grasp the teachings or not. Formal examinations are a better way to check the key teachings imparted to students in the classes. The results are mathematically computed, checked and summarized.
Coming to regular assessment with projects; it is more focused on content and individual performance. There can be different projects assigned to students randomly to assess the students. The key difference here is it will assess the individual learning and skills of students. It is not a common platform where all the students are checked on same parameter.
Whether formal examinations should be used or regular assessment should be done depends on time. Formal examinations cannot be eliminated from the system. They are the most successful form of comparing student’s performance with others in a same age group. The assessment allows knowing the strength and weaknesses of student as compared to its fellow classmates. Regular assessments are criterion referenced measures where performance is measured on individual basis. The assessment form will vary as per the objective of assessing.
Also, formal examinations are the bench parameter to check whether the teachers are imparting the education in right format or not. Teaching and learning are two different things. Initially students need knowledge and teaching so that they can understand the things in a better and open way. The most effective format that can be followed is to impart teaching, then take the formal examinations and along with it include the regular assessment with projects time to time. It will enable students to get the theoretical as well as practical knowledge at the same time.
11.Large shopping malls are replacing small shops. Your opinion? Good or bad
Mall culture has become big business, as shopping malls have evolved into multi-storied structures housing a large number of stores that sell diverse products and services. Shopping malls house a collection of retail stores and restaurants
Parking is one of the major hassles for people who go into the city to shop. Shopping at malls eliminates this problem, because parking is provided either free of charge or for a nominal fee. This makes it advantageous for people to choose to shop at a mall rather than a single store. Families who choose to visit a mall on the weekend or holiday for a family outing find it to be a more convenient option mainly because parking is provided
Visiting a mall is advantageous because of the numerous stores housed in one complex. Groceries, clothes, shoes, reading material, food courts, cinemas and entertainment arcades are available in one place. Malls make great meeting places for friends to catch up over coffee at a café or a meal at the food court.
One of the major disadvantages - These include excessive crowding, especially on weekends and holidays. Crowded aisles and stores make shopping very difficult; people often end up forgetting items they needed to buy. Parking can also be a problem when the mall is very crowded.
The temptation to browse is always present, and browsing often leads to buying things that are not needed. Keeping to a monthly budget becomes increasingly difficult every time you visit the mall. With all the sales and special offers intended to tempt buyers, saying "no" becomes very hard
12. Nowadays, people spend too much time at work to the extent that they hardly have time for their personal life. Discuss.
If people don't have time to relax and recharge, their ability to do their job decreases and their performance level suffers.•
Work-life balance is about creating and maintaining supportive and healthy work environments, which will enable employees to have balance between work and personal responsibilities and thus strengthen employee loyalty and productivity.
Today’s workers have many competing responsibilities such as work, children, housework, volunteering, spouse and elderly parent care and this places stress on individuals, families and the communities in which they reside. Work-life conflict is a serious problem that impacts workers, their employers and communities.
Long work hours and highly stressful jobs not only hamper employees’ ability to harmonize work and family life but also are associated with health risks, such as increased smoking and alcohol consumption, weight gain and depression. Work life conflict has been associated with numerous physical and mental health implications.
Work-life conflict has negative implications on family life. Their work responsibilities interfere with their ability to fulfill their responsibilities at home.
A growing number of employers have implemented wellness programs or pay for their employees’ gym membership as part of a benefits package. Some companies invite fitness trainers or yoga instructors into the office to hold lunchtime sessions.
Companies that have implemented work-life balance programs recognize that employee welfare affects the “bottom line” of the business. Finally, self-management is important; people need to control their own behaviour and expectations regarding work-life balance.
13. It is usually foolish to get married before completing your studies and getting established in a good job? Do you agree or disagree".
There are numerous disadvantages to getting married while still a student. “[Getting married in college] can create a greater problem when you are dependent on parents to support you. There is the probability of more tension on the part of both sets of parents.” Expecting your parents to continue paying your tuition as though you were still a child once you have chosen to take on the very adult responsibility of marriage can also create tension.
Another reason to wait is the time constraint on enrolled newlyweds. Balancing time at home, adjusting to a new life and spending time on academics is a daunting task, regardless of how organized you are. Married college students are often left with not enough time to do housework, study or have couple time. Little time is left for each other so there’s less time to work on personal growth and the marriage.
The college marriage often results in restriction of college experiences, participation in college functions and of relationships of college friends.
Not only that, but she also finds that marriage affects academics. “There is often a drop in grades due to added responsibilities or having to take on a full time job. The distractions that marriage brings are endless and normal, but if your current schedule and goals make marriage too much to handle on top of your college life, then the smartest decision may be taking care of your college career before saying your vows.
Sometimes the engaged couple isn’t actually ready to decide what they want out of life (or marriage) yet. College is a time of growth and maturing. Getting married too soon can cut growth and maturation short. “Most students need some time to be self-supporting, living on your own and making decisions as you mature. An early marriage can prevent students from ever getting that time to mature.
15. Talk about pros/cons of this era as it is full of daily inventions
In today's world, where just about everything is more convenient and accessible due to advances in technology across almost all sectors, it may seem as though it's a misnomer to even mention any disadvantages of technological advances. However, despite how far technology has taken humans and no matter how convenient it may make things, there are some disadvantages accompanying this level of access.
Technology advances show people a more efficient way to do things, and these processes get results. For example, education has been greatly advanced by the technological advances of computers. Students are able to learn on a global scale without ever leaving their classrooms. Agricultural processes that once required dozens upon dozens of human workers can now be automated, thanks to advances in technology, which means cost-efficiency for farmers. Medical discoveries occur at a much more rapid rate, thanks to machines and computers that aid in the research process and allow for more intense educational research into medical matters. This results in cost savings for business owners, allowing them to invest in growth in other areas of the business, which contributes on a positive level to the economy as a whole.
The more advanced society becomes technologically, the more people begin to depend on computers and other forms of technology for everyday existence. This means that when a machine breaks or a computer crashes, humans become almost disabled until the problem is resolved. This kind of dependency on technology puts people at a distinct disadvantage, because they become less self-reliant.
At the same time, human workers retain less value, which is a disadvantage of technological advances. Because machines automate processes and do the work of 10 people with one computer, companies find they don't need to employ as many people to get the job done. As machines and computers become even more advanced and efficient, this will continue to be a growing disadvantage of technology and an issue that has a global impact.
16. Imitating celebrities in sports and movies good or bad?
Paragraph 1
Now, more than ever, celebrities are extremely influential in the lives of teenagers. While there are certainly some positive role models for teens among today’s celebrities, there are also many who provide a decidedly negative influence. Teens who try to emulate these celebrities may fall victim to several different issues,
There include Drug abuse or drug addiction, Problems with alcohol and drinking heavily, Eating disorders and Low self-esteem and low self-confidence.
1) It seems like every day there are more and more stories and pictures on the Internet of the illicit activities of celebrities. Teens see these people partying, drinking alcohol or doing drugs, and they think they should too. This sends the message to teens that in order to have fun or be cool, you have to use these substances. Teens may begin to think that it is no big deal, and this can cause serious problems leading to and including drug and alcohol addictions, risk-taking behaviors, and even death.
2) Some of the most common problems that occur are issues with self-esteem for teens, especially teen girls. When a teen girl flips through her favorite fashion magazine, she is inundated with pictures and articles revolving around the erroneous belief that celebrities are perfect. The air-brushed pictures, workout and diet tips, and pin-thin models can cause body images issues for teens. In trying to make themselves look like the pictures that they see, teens can cause real damage to their bodies. Working out too much or not eating enough can lead to an eating disorder, such as anorexia or bulimia
Paragraph 2 – from ielts practice
Hero worship is in our blood. In this day and age, media and sports personalities are the heroes. They are everywhere – on the billboards, in the newspapers, on TV and internet. This omnipresence has earned them widespread fame and millions of fans who try to imitate everything that they do. Is this a positive development? Let’s examine.
Admiring film and sports personalities is nothing unusual but unfortunately it isn’t always good. A large number of our celebrities don’t set good examples. Many of them are known for their extravagant and wasteful lifestyles. They don’t mind spending millions of dollars on shopping. They wear expensive designer garments and drive super luxury cars. They earn millions of dollars every year so it doesn’t really matter to them. Unfortunately, they inspire middle class people, who can hardly afford this, to adopt the same life style.
Wafer thin models promote unhealthy eating habits. Anorexia has become a major health issue these days. Models and film stars who look nearly perfect because of Photoshop effects have given rise to a generation obsessed with looking perfect. Even extramarital relationships are now considered perfectly acceptable because several celebrities have multiple partners.
Celebrities are human beings too and they have their own weaknesses. Just because they happen to excel in a particular field, we can’t expect them to be paragons of virtue. They are influential people and it would be great if they can be good role models, but the truth is that that is where most of them fail.
On the other hand, we do have something to learn from these famous people. They are achievers. Many of them had humble beginnings. Still, they rose to fame because of their determination and hard work. We can also achieve the same if we make a sincere attempt.
After analyzing the situation, it is not hard to see that admiring and imitating film and sports personalities who do not set a good example is bad. Simply admiring them is alright. The problem begins when you try to imitate everything that they do.
17. Any recent invention that you think proved beneficial or detrimental to society
&
18. In the past 100 years, there have been many inventions such as antibiotics, airplanes and computers. What do you think is the most important of them? Why? Greatest invention in the last 100 years, medicine, science or technology?
&
21.What are the greatest inventions of the 20th century among medicine, aeroplane and computers, why?
It is evident how life has changed since technology has been introduced in the human life. When we think about technology mostly the first thing that comes to our mind is the image of a computer. Technological advancements such as computers have been designed and created with the only purpose to help humans and make their lives easier. Computers have become indispensable in any workplace where they are basically considered a compliment for people to help them on developing their activities. In fact, computers are the greatest invention of all time because they have multi-tasking features that can minimize your work, they can display and let you manipulate stored information, and they are used in almost all fields for any purpose.
First of all computers have multi-tasking features that can minimize the work you have to do. For example, computers avoid you having to calculate any result on doing math, the only thing you must do is to type the information needed and your work is done.
Secondly, computers can display and let you manipulate stored information. In other words, you don’t need to use paper in order to store any information on shelves. You don’t even have to rewrite a whole paper because you did a mistake or you have to add more information to the written form. You can have as many files as you can in your computer and organize them the way you like it without having to use any extra material or space.
Finally, computers are used in almost all fields for any purpose such as entertainment, education, and any type of job. For example, you can use computers to play videogames, watch movies, listen to music or chat on the internet for entertainment. In education or any job you can use them for videoconferences, PowerPoint presentations or just using their basic features discussed in the first point.
Therefore computers are the greatest invention of all time because they reduce your time consumption on your activities, you can save your information and edit it anytime, and they let you do almost everything you need. Computers have become the most powerful tool ever created.
19. Information revolution has changed the way of mass communications and had some negative and positive effects on individual lives as well as on society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
&
23. Communication has changed significantly in the last 10 yers. Disucss pros and cons impacts.
IT has not only brought the world closer together. Therefore, we can not only share information quickly and efficiently, but we can also bring down barriers of linguistic and geographic boundaries. The world has developed into a global village due to the help of information technology allowing to shares ideas and information with each other.
Communication has also become cheaper, quicker, and more efficient. We can now communicate with anyone around the globe by simply text messaging them or sending them an email for an almost instantaneous response. The internet has also opened up face to face direct communication from different parts of the world thanks to the helps of video conferencing.
Bridging the cultural gap - Information technology has helped to bridge the cultural gap by helping people from different cultures to communicate with one another, and allow for the exchange of views and ideas, thus increasing awareness and reducing prejudice.
However, While information technology may have streamlined the business process it has also crated job redundancies, downsizing and outsourcing. This means that a lot of lower and middle level jobs have been done away with causing more people to become unemployed.
Privacy - Though information technology may have made communication quicker, easier and more convenient, it has also bought along privacy issues. Due to website and email hacking, people are now worried about their once private information becoming public knowledge.
Lack of job security - Industry experts believe that the internet has made job security a big issue as since technology keeps on changing with each day. This means that one has to be in a constant learning mode, if he or she wishes for their job to be secure.
Dominant culture - While information technology may have made the world a global village, it has also contributed to one culture dominating another weaker one. For example it is now argued that US influences how most young teenagers all over the world now act, dress and behave. Languages too have become overshadowed, with English becoming the primary mode of communication for business and everything else.
20.Learning a new language at an early age is helpful for children. Is it more positive for their future aspect or have some adverse effects. Agree or disagree?
Paragraph 1
There are several benefits of learning a new language, the latest being it promotes a better understanding (and acceptance of) psychology and diversity.
1.Bilingualism delays Alzheimer’s disease by as much as five .
2. Being bilingual can lead to improved listening skills, since the brain has to work harder to distinguish different types of sounds in two or more languages
3. Babies brought up in a bilingual environment have stronger working memories than those brought up with only one language
This means they are better at mental calculation, reading and many other vital skills.
4. Better multi-tasking-Bilingual people can switch from one task to another more quickly. They show more cognitive flexibility and find it easier to adapt to unexpected circumstances.
5. Learning a new language can literally change the way you see the world. Learning Japanese, for example, which has basic terms for light and dark blue, may help you perceive the colour in different ways
People used to think that learning two languages created confusion in the mind. Some studies did seem to back up the idea that learning two languages could be problematic; early researchers noted that bilingual people tended to have smaller vocabularies and slower access to words
Paragraph 2
Language, a means of communication which change from place to place, society to society. Learning a new language at early age is always helpful for children, in following paragraphs the benefits of same are mentioned.
To start with, early age of a child is the best age for learning, minds are fresh and children are able to grasp new things without any hassle. Moreover sharpness of children to grasp tricky situations increases with understanding of two different languages at early age. Children feel confident. For example a person with knowledge of more than one language can communicate with a larger mass. He can establish business relations across several foreign locations, increase in number of jobs opportunities and what not.
Secondly, being bi-lingual opens up world of possibilities to a person, he can go to foreign countries for higher studies and can also manage to get a job in foreign countries. Bi-lingual ability helps to build bridge with people of different culture,
As a conclusion, the effects of studying a new language at early age is far more then rewarding, it not only enhances a person’s ability by developing his brain and confidence, but also earns deep rooted benefits in long run.
22. In under developed countries, tourism has disadvantages and can be said the opposite as well.
In recent decades, low cost airfare has made international travel easier and many countries have, therefore, developed their tourism industries into key sectors of their economies. While it is clear tourism brings obvious benefits to the countries that host tourists, it is also true to say it may bring disadvantages as well.
Undoubtedly, there are significant benefits that tourism brings to a country. First, a thriving tourist industry implies an increasing need for a variety of services such as hotels, transport, restaurants, and entertainment. This results in a considerable number of jobs being created for people who lack a college education and also the development of the infrastructure needed to accommodate visitors. Moreover, tourism is a "green" industry that, unlike factories, generates a low level of pollution. In fact, because beautiful natural landscapes are often places that tourists come to see, a country will often be sure to maintain the landscape in order to keep it attractive for tourists.
Despite the benefits, there are aspects of tourism that may prove harmful to a country. For instance, a country may suffer from the loss of their traditional culture. This is caused by people in a country changing their lifestyle, customs, and language in order to more effectively serve visitors or because they become influenced by foreign countries. This can cause stress in a traditional society and could even lead to animosity towards tourists. In addition, because tourists often carry expensive objects like cameras and are unaware of their surroundings, they make good targets for theft. Crime also increases as a result of the increases in drugs and prostitution that caters to some vacationers.
In summary, global tourism is greatly beneficial to an economy and environment of a country. However, it can be detrimental in several ways. To my way of thinking, a country should seek to develop its tourism industry because it can bring steady jobs to many people without their need for higher education and without the risk of environmental damages.
24. The only thing that interfere with my learning is my education- Einstein. What does he mean by that? And do you think he is correct?
Formal education tends to limit the thinking you can do about a subject. For instance, you know and accept that the Law of Gravity is valid. You've been taught that in school. Therefore, you are not going to waste your time trying to get around it.
Most engineers today are taught that something must be done THIS way. By the time they get their degrees, they can't see simple solutions to complex problems. That's when you need someone with no degree and not a lot of knowledge about engineering that you can bounce the problem off of. In explaining it to them and dealing with their offhand suggestions, you often get the simple solution you couldn't see.
Einstein recognized that education also limits the mind and felt he learned more by doing research without the confines of the degree.
Einstein was a genius, which back in the old days many never really understood what a genius really was! So for him to say, the only thing that interferes with my learning is my education! He was actually saying, he was a lot smarter than any education that could be taught to him back in them days!
So he had to more or less, self educate on his own to be able to be smarter then he already was! Many people saw him as off the wall, sort of speak! Because of the fact he was a lot more smarter then anyone really knew! So instead of him being looked up to because of being so smart, he was more like an out cast to most! Mostly because of his odd behaviour, and weirdness and very much misunderstood! He plainly just didn't fit in!
I guess you could say, very few people tried to get to know him at his level and partly no one could possibly even think at his level! So he to many was just a strange person! But the fact was he was a genius and he was misunderstood back in them days! Geniuses today are honoured and almost worshiped and there is today, way higher education levels in place now for people that are geniuses!
Could you imagine if education would have been so high level to teach Einstein to the levels he was urning for! He would have really accomplished way more then what he did!
And may have changed the world for a lot better then what it is today! Maybe that's why education is such a high priority in today’s world, so that everyone has a chance to be the next great Einstein, or even greater! If education hadn't changed from the old days, man would have never made it to the moon!
Education has to always change for the better, may be at times not fast enough, but if it didn't life will never get better! If education was still the same as back in Einstein days, Medical wouldn't be where it is today and millions would have all died every year! Medical is the biggest resource for longer life and more quality of life! Without it, people would be dieing at younger ages and from many diseases that wouldn't be cureable without all the medical education we all have today!
Einstein would have actually fit in better in todays world then he did back in the old days, you could say he was born in the wrong Century, so it would be like taking a well educated person today and put them back into Einstein days of life! The person would feel completely out of place and most likely wouldn't be able to even cope in that kind of life!
So what Einstein was saying is, he was being taught 6 th grade education when he was actually like the highest college degree grad in are time of life! And he wanted higher education then the highest college education! But back in his days 6 th grade education is all they had as highest education to offer!

Education in the 21st Century: The Challenge
'The illiterate of the twenty-first century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn.' - Alvin Toffler
How effective is the education that your child receives? As one of the world's wealthy countries, we could reasonably expect that our education system would rate as one of the world's best, and certainly in terms of spending on education, Singapore's record is very good, but it seems that our report card - along with those of all major developed countries - should read: 'Must do better'.
Around the world, education systems are struggling to remain relevant in a changing world. Far too often they are failing to prepare students for life in the 'new economies'.
So, what does all this mean to parents, struggling to make the right educational choices for their children? And what does it mean to a nation like Singapore at the beginning of the twenty-first century?
For the individual, there is no way to over-estimate the importance of education.
Many may score well in basic literacy and number skills but performance even in these areas is often based on the wealth and social position of the students. And besides, education suited for the new millennium is not the same as in previous decades. The new economy, brought about by the huge changes of the communications revolution, means that the skills which will be valued are far more wide-ranging than the 'three Rs' of the past. Literacy and number skills are still vital, but the successful person in the future will be the person with wide-ranging abilities - the person 'able to navigate change and diversity, learn-as-they-go, solve problems, collaborate and be flexible and creative.' (New Learning: A Charter for Australian Education - Australian Council of Deans of Education (A.C.D.E.)
Creative teachers have understood this for decades, but education systems, are slow to adapt frustrating most attempts at meaningful evolution.
Education suited to our children's needs must help them cope as individuals in a complex world. Experts predict that today's students will be the first in history to face the prospect of working at ten - or more - different jobs during their working lives. They will need thinking and learning skills that are creative and flexible. Adaptability will be their most prized possession.
In reality, there is a danger, that outside pressures and the time constraints of an over-crowded curriculum distract us from the traditional purpose of good schooling, which is to turn out a well-rounded, decent human being.
Britain's Prime Minister, Tony Blair, made his intentions clear in 1997, with his statement of priorities: 'Education, Education, Education.' Only last year Singapore's minister for education, Teo Chee Hean said, 'education is about moulding the future of our nation'. He was right of course, but he might also have said, 'education is about moulding the future of each individual.'
The challenge for each of us is to find the method of learning best suited to the demands of that future, and this will be the subject of my articles over the coming weeks.
26. "Value added by travel in Education Is travel a necessary component of education or not ? Will scholar sitting at home have more knowledge than one who travels ? "
&
28. Travel to study is over rated, we have brilliant scholars who studied locally. Is travel really required for higher studies?
The development of society is going towards a globalised world where education is an essential foundation for personal, social and economic success. International studies are becoming a new trend for young people as a way to expand their education beyond their traditional education style. It is agreed that adding a foreign qualification has become an integral part of higher studies. This argument is proven by looking at how it widens people’s perspective and helps them with better career opportunities.
Studying abroad helps people increase their awareness about different cultures of the world. This will contribute in creating individuals with a broader understanding of issues concerning today’s society rather than limiting them in a scope of home education system. For example, universities have a large community of students both from the local area and all around the globe. The diverse academic community enhances the quality of learning by providing wider spectrum of opinions and expertise. This example clearly shows that international education enhances outlook and sharpens self-awareness. Therefore, we can say that traveling is an important element of education.
Moreover, acquiring a globally recognized qualification or degree opens the doors for international job market. The students gain more knowledge and expertise when abroad and apply them to situations requiring international interactions. Also, employers look for the graduates with international experience either by studying or working abroad. Thus, we can say that international studies add value to a student’s education.
In summary, it can be said that travelling to foreign countries for higher studies is a key to succeed in this globalised planet.
27. "Marketing strategy for big companies should be placed on offer and discounts, and in what ways this can impact on their reputation
Its not an essay but it can give you idea what to write
Have you noticed how our shopping culture has changed in the last decade? Maybe it's because of the economic downturn in 2008 or maybe it's just a natural shift that's been happening, but everyone, and I mean everyone, seems to be slashing their prices.
There are even multi-million dollar businesses that have built their organizations around the concept of discounting. Take Groupon for example. While the person who signs up to receive those daily “deals” might not be thinking of it as a discount, but rather a special package or promotion, in reality, they’re purchasing a product / service at a lower price, making it a discount.
Discounts are all around us, and as consumers, we’ve started to be conditioned to not purchase unless we’re getting a great deal.
Why Offer a Discount?
Aside from the fact that it’s now just commonplace to offer a discount, there are strategic reasons (at least the companies think they’re strategic) why organizations choose to cut their prices.
Honestly, at the very highest level, discounting makes sense from a marketing and sales perspective, especially when you're in a slump. You're attracting a slew of new customers to your company, who you might not have ever found before. And you’re encouraging them to buy by offering them a deal.
Circling back to Groupon, someone might get a deal for his or her local Ethiopian restaurant. They see that email, think to themselves, “Hey, I’ve never really thought about trying Ethiopian food, but this picture looks good, so why not give it a try?” Bam! You’ve gotten yourself a new customer through your door.
And while that may sound like the most brilliant strategy in the world, we’re here to show you that discounting can actually hurt your business in the long run. In today’s post you’ll gain insight into how discounting can actually hinder you from closing the sale.
Discounting in the B2B Space
Before we get into the tactical reasons why you shouldn’t be discounting in your business, we want to just take a minute and shed some light on the fact that discounting doesn’t just affect the B2C industry. While the examples above are focused on B2C buying relationships, so often you also find B2B companies offering discounts on their products / services as well. It’s important to understand that this isn’t just a B2C epidemic, it’s everywhere.
Discounting in the B2B space happens much the same way as it does for B2C companies. Let’s use a software company as an example. They’re trying to sell their software to high-tech startups (let’s say it’s project management software), and they’re having trouble closing their sales. Instead of focusing on other aspects of the product (which we’ll get to in a minute), they immediately jump to the price. They offer a 15% off discount for all new customers. Guess what they see? A spike in sales!
Awesome! Fantastic! Yes! They’ve done it right. But...then what? Where the real problem lies isn't with generating the new customers and sales, it's what that discount in price represents. Here are six reasons why you should never discount your products / services.
1) Lack of Confidence
When you’re offering a discount on your product, what is that saying to your prospect? It’s saying that you don’t believe enough in what you’re selling that you think you can sell it for the standard price. You’re showing your cards, and proving that you have a weak hand. As soon as you offer a discount, your prospect immediately loses confidence in you and sees that you don’t stand behind what you’re trying, wholeheartedly, to sell to them. Confidence is a game changer, so when you’ve lost that, you’ve most likely losing the sale.
2) Bad Precedent
When you offer a discount, whether it’s the first engagement or the fifth engagement, there’s no going back. As soon as you lower your price, your customer will expect to see the same thing next time. Or, they’ll hold out until you offer another “special”. And most likely, they won’t purchase without it. And while a discount may seem like that’s your only option, it’s not. You don’t want to set the precedent that every time your customer buys from you, it’s at a discounted price. That’s just bad business.
3) Lower Perceived Value
Most people value something based on it’s price. But as a salesperson it is your job to sell the value of your product or service in other ways. You’re not going to say that your product is the best because it’s the most expensive, right? No (well, I hope not anyway).
You haven’t done your job (effectively at least), if you haven’t demonstrated to your prospect that what you’re selling can truly add value to their life. If you go in with a discount in hand, you’re trashing that value and throwing it out the window. And while they still might buy from you, they’re not going to place as much value on it as they most likely would have before.
4) Untrustworthiness
This point is especially true when you’re in the middle of the sale, and things start to get sticky. You’ve already laid out the proposal, telling your prospect that this is your standard pricing package and the very best that you can do for them. As the conversation continues to spiral downwards, you realize you’re going to lose out on the sale. What do you do? Offer a discount, of course!
While your prospect might be thrilled at the time to get a lower price, in the back of their mind they’re also saying, “Wait, but they already told me this is the very best they could do and now they’re offering me a discount? What else haven’t they been honest about?” You’re stirring up questions that should never be there in the first place. And even if this particular deal goes through, you’ve set the stage for questions and mistrust in future engagements.
5) The "Price" Conversation
The last thing you want in a sales conversation is to have the conversation focused on price. And that’s just what happens when you offer a discount. When the conversation is focused on price, it doesn’t give you room to talk about the other important things, like your prospects’ needs / business challenges and how your company is offering the ideal solution that will make their lives more painless. And in the long run, it’s hard to sell something based on it’s price than on it’s value.
6) The Profit Cuts
It’s hard to run a successful business. And with the ever-increasing competition, it’s even more important that you hold onto as much profit as you can. As a business, if you discount by 50%, what does that do to your sales? It means that in order to hit your same revenue goal, you’re going to have to sell twice as much. Do you have the time or the manpower to do that?
The same is true for an individual salesperson. When you’re offering your prospect a discount, you're going to have to sell a whole lot more in order to meet your monthly quotas. While this might not necessarily affect your current sale, think about what it means for your workload, which in turns affects your ability to sell effectively. You're going to be stressed, rushed, and very driven to just move onto the next sale because you’re always playing catch up.
Prospects can feel (and I can assure you) that it scares them away. If you're not spending the proper amount of time with each of your prospects, then you're going to have a much harder time closing that sale - making you even more stressed and rushed. It's the never-ending cycle, that all leads back to that very first discount.
What to do Instead
Great, now we can see how discounting can negatively impact our business and cause more pain than it may be worth. But what methods can we leverage that will still help us close the sale without slashing our prices? We’ve got four tips for you to try in your next sales meeting.
1) Focus on value
This should be your number one priority, always. You need to focus on how your product or service can add value to your prospect’s business. Maybe it’s the fact that you’re helping to free up more time for them to focus on other parts of their job. Maybe you’re making their payroll process more efficient and cost-effective. Whatever it is that you do, focus on how working with your organization will make their life better in some way.
2) Know your target audience
Another given, but you might be surprised how many organizations do not truly understand their target audience. What do they struggle with? What are their goals? What does their day-to-day look like? Those are important questions that you need to know when marketing and selling.
It will help you position yourself in a way that makes what you’re selling a no-brainer. Price isn’t even an issue because you’ve successfully shown that what you have can solve their problems. It’s been said before, but you should be able to understand and communicate your prospects’ challenges better than they can themselves. If you can do this, this tactic alone will help you win a sale.
3) Show your confidence
Most salespeople are confident, right? It kind of comes with the territory. But if you don’t fully stand behind what you’re selling, it will show. I can promise you that.
It’s essential that you exude confidence (not to be confused with arrogance) when you’re in a sales meeting, not only in yourself but also in your business and your product / service. Excitement is infectious, so when your prospect can see how excited you are, they’ll get excited too. And that is precisely the reaction that you’re looking for.
4) Prove that what you’re selling works
It’s the same idea behind social proof, but it’s important to have back up for what you’re selling. You want to show that what you’re telling them on the phone, will actually come true and make a positive impact on their business. This can come in the form of testimonials, case studies, or even videos of your current customers sharing how great your product / service is. Ideally, you might even have all three! Whenever possible, also make sure that these forms of proof include data points and prove you deliver measurable results. People tend to believe in numbers.
And there you have it: a deep-dive into why you discounting can be damaging to your business and actually keep you from closing the sale. We hope you found this post helpful, and hope that it has inspired you to make some changes in your own selling process.
29. The space tavel is fantastic these day and they are very fascinate towards its but there are many environmental problems in our planet we should resolve the problems or travel space and spend alot of money
I am attaching a few below
Paragraph 1
In my opinion, I definitely agree with that governments should spend money for our fundamental needs on earth and preserve our earth as possible as they can. There are three crucial reasons that support my opinion, such as outer space is an uncertainty and we could not estimate how much money we need to spend for it, our earth is the place we live in now so that we should preserve it rather than seeking for the outer space, and our money is finite so that we should spend it on the appropriate way.
First, outer space is an uncertainty and we could not estimate how much money we need to spend for it. Whereas, we could estimate how much money we should spend for the fundamental needs in terms of our resource, population and basic spending. Furthermore, we should pursue the goal that we could achieve rather than pursue the goal that we could not know if we will achieve it.
Second, our earth is the place we live in now so that we should preserve it rather than seeking for the outer space. It's a simple logic, we should live in here and now rather than seek for something that might exist in the future. Moreover, if we regard our earth as the only precious place, we do not need to seek for the our place. In other words, we do not need another outer space if we preserve our earth entirely. Consequently, we could get what we need from our earth if we focus on preserving it.
Third, our money is finite so that we should spend it appropriately. In other words, the money that will be spend for the outer space is absolutely much more than our fundamental needs on earth. Furthermore, we should value our money then spend it for what we need. Consequently, we do not need to invest our money for the outer space if we spend it appropriately, because we could regard our earth a comfortable space and we would never want to seek for the outer space.
To sum up, according to the reasons that I mentioned above, I urge that our governments should spend money for our fundamental needs on earth
Paragraph 2 - By Zaina Adamu, CNN
Carol Beckles isn't buying into all the space exploration hype. She’s a single, middle-class mother of three living in a modest, cozy three-bedroom home in Atlanta’s suburbs. She foots the college bill of her oldest daughter Tiffany, who – like her mom – wishes she got more government help to pay for tuition.
“It’s definitely hard. From the time that I was a senior (in high school) I had to start figuring out how I was going to pay for this,” said Tiffany who sits close beside her mom.
A mere mention of taxpayers’ dollars going to NASA makes Carol cringe. “I don’t see the use. What are we going out there to do?” she asked. CNN commenters often share these sentiments; one recently identified himself/herself as "waste of tax dollars."
It’s been asked since space exploration began in the late 1950s. Some people argue that some –- if not all –- funding for space exploration could be used to revitalize the economy, fix the education system, or solve undersea mysteries, among other Earth-related issues.
“We need to be researching the bottom of the oceans just as much,” said CNN’s space and science meteorologist Chad Myers. “There could be things at the bottom of the Earth that we don’t know about.”
According to a 2010 CNN/ORC poll, 50% of Americans agreed that the money spent for the space shuttle program - which ended last year - should be spent elsewhere. And in a 2009 Gallup poll, the percentage of Americans who believe the U.S. space program should be scrapped jumped four points: From 4% to 8% in an 11-year period (1998-2009).
The numbers reveal that some question the purpose of space exploration. NASA chief scientist Waleed Abdalati said the government’s financial contribution to NASA has been beneficial to humans and will continue to set breakthroughs in technology.
“By sending astronauts to space and trying to understand their biological responses to space environment, we’ve learned a lot about understanding human beings,” said Abdalati. “A lot of the instrumentation in an emergency room, for example, is traceable to investments by NASA to monitor and understand human health and performance in a space-related environment.”
Human benefits from space exploration
The birth of the space age has spurred on a plethora of new ideas and ground-breaking technologies that are used in day-to-day living.
Health: During the early Apollo missions, scientists needed precise images of the moon’s surface in order to land the first man on the moon. In the 1960s, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory created digital image processing, an innovative technology that uses computers to enhance images of the moon. In the medical field, scientists and researchers found that this technology could be used to enhance images of organs in humans. Today, digital image processing is used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and CT scans.
Information Technology: Captured by satellites, NASA’s Earth Observing System Data and Information System collects and archives information of the Earth’s atmosphere, oceans and vegetation on a daily basis. The massive amount of data accumulated has reached 4.5 petabytes. That’s equivalent to completely filling 90 million four-drawer file cabinets with paper, according to NASA’s 2010 “Spinoff” publication(PDF). To provide convenient access to the large data repositories, NASA partnered with Archivas Inc. to create a high-tech software program that can hold large amounts of information. Hospitals, cell-phone providers, businesses and organizations now use this same technology to store information.
Communications: Satellites play an instrumental role in how we communicate and navigate the world. In the 1960s companies including AT&T and RCA partnered with NASA and other space agencies to build and place satellites in the Earth’s orbit. Global positioning systems, television networks, radio stations and cell-phone carriers are all dependent on satellites to keep the world connected.
GPS in particular arose as a result of Sputnik, the Soviet satellite that launched in 1957. Changes in radio frequency helped U.S. scientists track where Sputnik was because of the Doppler effect - that is, a shift in the frequency of sound or light waves corresponds to a change in position. This principle led to a Navy navigation system called TRANSIT intended for submarines. GPS for continuous navigation was developed as a Defense Department initiative in the 1970s, leading to the launch of the first GPS satellite in 1978. The system was complete in 1995 (More about this from Time.com).
Environment: When the Saturn 1B launch stand (used in several Apollo missions) was disassembled, it was stored away in an open field. No one knew until years later that the launch stand was coated with a paint containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), a toxic chemical that was seeping into the Earth’s soil. Quinn and her colleagues created the Activated Metal Treatment System (AMTS), a paste-like solvent solution that extracts PCBs from paint without removing the paint itself. The innovative system has been redesigned since then to remove many forms of contamination and pesticides on land.
Transportation: The parachute shrouds that landed the Vikings on Mars have a fibrous material used in automobile tires. These state-of-the-art tires wereoriginally developed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Now the tires, famously called radial tires, are manufactured in factories around the world. They are five times more durable than steel and have an expected tread life 10,000 miles greater than conventional tires.
Public safety: Those powerful rocket launchers that propel spacecrafts into deep space are now fighting fires. Rory Groonwald, chief engineer at Orbital Technologies Corporation, partnered with the U.S. Air Force Fire Rescue Research Group to design a similar high-pressured system that suppresses fires in seconds. The technology also reduces water usage because the extreme force creates fines water droplets as opposed to an excessive flow.
Talking numbers
“For pennies on the dollar, the space program has improved our lives, advanced our society, strengthened our economy, and inspired generations of Americans,” he said.
The takeaway
Carol does not know for sure if Tiffany’s post-secondary education in business administration will lead her to a job in the field. She does know though, that the opportunities for her will be greater if she stays in college, so she said she will continue to invest in her daughter's education.
In the same way, said Abdalati, society must continue to invest in space exploration.
“There’s value to making these investments. It’s very easy to look at the challenges we face financially as a nation and consider alternative investments, but if we don’t carve out a small fraction of the national budget to support exploration, we lose something tremendously important and, in fact, we step back as a society.”

31. In a war of ideas, it is people who get killed”. Does a common man suffer from a group’s ideology? Express your opinion, and support the same with reasons and examples.
Undoubtedly, since ages human beings have been fighting due to the conflicts of the ideas they have. Nevertheless, it is also true that these clashes of opinions beget to such perilous decisions of particular groups which are the threats for mankind. As far as, it is concerned to me, I firmly assert with this statement due to the various reasons that I am going to expound in this piece of writing.
There are multifarious reasons but to begin with first and foremost is that everybody has their own views regarding religion, culture, and politics and so on because in all over the world, there are the diversities .This leads everybody to think that their opinions must be followed by others. on the other side, when it is not acceptable then cause riots, processions and even killing the people of opposite sides. For example, history is the evident that various riots, fights and battles had happened regarding religions, countries, culture and so forth , in between communities of this world. Even, the terrorism is one of the major examples of such disputes of ideas.
Moreover, the political reasons can cause such fights owing to sometimes different leaders of various countries have their own agenda either for the good deed or bad one, because of which such authorities announce to have battle for their rights and other dominating causes sometimes. But,here once again innocent people get killed .To epitome, it is known to all of us that world war 1 and 2 were disastrous for the mankind as millions of people died, became homeless, injured and huge loss of money.

33. In some countries young people are encouraged to work or travel for a year between finishing high school and starting university studies.
Paragraph 1:
It is quite common these days for young people in many countries to have a break from studying after graduating from high school. This trend is not restricted to rich students who have the money to travel, but is also evident among poorer students who choose to work and become economically independent for a period of time.
The reasons for this trend may involve the recognition that a young adult who passes directly from school to university is rather restricted in terms of general knowledge and experience of the world. By contrast, those who have spent some time earning a living or traveling to other places have a broader view of life and better personal resources to draw on. They tend to be more independent, which is a very important factor in academic study and research, as well as giving them an advantage in terms of coping with the challenges of student life.
However, there are certainly dangers in taking time off at that important age. Young adults may end up never returning to their studies or finding it difficult to re-adapt to an academic environment. They may think that it is better to continue in a particular job, or to do something completely different from a university course. But overall, I think this is less likely today, when academic qualifications are essential for getting a reasonable career.
My view is that young people should be encouraged to broaden their horizons. That is the best way for them to get a clear perspective of what they are hoping to do with their lives and why. Students with such a perspective are usually the most effective and motivated ones and taking a year off may be the best way to gain this.

Paragraph 2: - By Tersem
Peoples are divided on the issue that countries should encourage the young peoples to do jobs or to travel before attending university. Some people think that it is better for students to attend university, while others believe that traveling and working before joining the University for formal Education is better for the students to understand the world. In my opinion it is very important for student to develop communication, attain maturity and develop professional attitude and the later approach is better way of achieving it.
First of all, this will prepare the students for higher education. In the school student are no fully matured. Even some remain childish in thinking and behaviour. In the university a student will meet with different types of peoples so there require a good understanding and mental maturity stage for that. The university campus provides special and deep knowledge of particular field which require hard working and learning capability. Because university education and teachers prepare the students to survive in real world on his own basis any place, some prior travel and work experience would even accelerate it more.
Moreover, it will make one to understand the professional life. This will provide important experience to a student to mange theirs studies with work, because in higher studies students have to finance their studies or to work in research laboratories. Working at shop or small office will teach the students to understand the working pressure, cooperation with coworkers and complete the task in schedule. In my school days I worked in a drug selling shop from where I learned how to convince and cool down the angry customer during selling. This later on proved to be valuable experience in my university level.
Finally, it gives the chance to improve communication skill. Communication skill is important part not only at working area but also in learning center. With excellent speaking and respecting attitude one can win the favour of opposing persons. Traveling makes the person to share views and learn various cultures, languages from other peoples. Exchanging opinion enriches one’s speaking ability.
In summation, it is clear that pre-university jobs and travelling are vital experiences. These not only prepare one for civil life and toward maturity but also make one to improve communication skill.
